I really appreciate Andy's approach to physical therapy. He uses force plates in the assessment to show potential imbalances. He actually got down to the root of my knee pain. Immediate relief, and my next run felt amazing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from Denver runners and winter athletes about performance-focused physical therapy.

Do I need a referral to book a session?

No referral is needed. You can schedule a phone consult directly to discuss your goals and determine if Summit is a good fit for your needs.

Is Summit Performance Physiotherapy in-network with insurance?

Summit is a cash-based clinic and does not bill insurance directly. We provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement and accept HSA/FSA cards as well as major credit cards. Payment plans are available.

How is this different from traditional physical therapy?

Every session is one-on-one and lasts a full hour. We use data-driven testing like force plates and dynamometry to identify deficits and track progress, and all programming is individualized around your sport and training goals.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit is a performance-focused evaluation. We'll discuss your history and goals, complete movement and strength testing, and build a clear plan tailored to getting you back to running, skiing, or training.

Can you help me train while I rehab?

Yes. Many patients continue modified training during rehab. We work with you to adjust volume and intensity so you can stay active while addressing the root cause of your symptoms.
